Olen niin innoissani, sillä päätimme lähteä vielä viimeiselle kahdenkeskiselle minilomalle Barcelonaan. Päätös tehtiin viime viikolla ja nyt ollaan jo matkalla. Lentämisen sijaan päätimme matkustaa määränpäähämme junalla. Edessä on siis kuuden tunnin junamatka halki Ranskan kohti Espanjaa.
Vaikka Pariisin talvi on ihan eri luokkaa kuin Suomessa, on täälläkin tammi-helmikuun taite ollut raskas, tuulinen ja pimeä. Viimeiset kolme päivää on tuullut ja satanut niin, että olen pelännyt yöllä kattoikkunan romahtavan sänkyymme.
Barcelonan-matkasta olen innoissani myös siitä syystä, että tämä on ensimmäinen visiittini tuohon aurinkoiseen rantakaupunkiin. Mies vitsailikin, että katsotaanpa reissun jälkeen, että toteanko:”Muutetaan Barcelonaan!” Se jää nähtäväksi. Varmaa on, että aurinkoenergia tekee varmasti hyvää tälle kalpeakasvolle.
Tulossa siis raporttia Barcelonasta. Erityisesti matkakohteen vintagekaupat ja vegeravintolat kiinnostavat perinteisten turistinähtävyyksien rinnalla. Ja luvassa raporttia huikeasta merenrantahotellista, jossa on kuulemma sauna.
Ja saanko todeta: odotan jo hotellin aamupalakattausta, ruoka kun on tässä vaiheessa mielessäni aika usein:) Ja aamupalallahan me suomalaiset tavallisesti tankkaamme siinä missä muu maailma tuijottaa espressokuppiinsa.
I am so excited: we are heading to Barcelona for the weekend. This is our last holiday together before the baby.
We were talking earlier that if I am still feeling well, we could go for a mini trip. So last week we started to think about Barcelona, and today we are on our way to this seaside city. Instead of taking a plane, we decided to go to Spain by train. And what could be more lovely and relaxing than look at the landscape from the window of the train while sipping a coffee and reading a book!
I am definitely need a little escape, even when the winter isn’t that cold and dark as in Finland, but it has been hard to have your full energy during the month of January. I am also excited about the trip, because I am visiting Barcelona for the first time. So everything is new and fresh for me. Of course in three days we won’t be heading to all the tourist attractions, and to be honest I am not that into do that. I am more this easygoing person, who likes to walk around the city from places to another, have a cup of coffee in nice, cozy café, and sense the atmosphere of the city.
